the fall and winter of 2008, a youth health needs assessment survey was
completed in the county. And in the spring of 2009, the adult survey was
completed. Coordinating this activity was Defiance County Health Partners –
led by staff of the Defiance County Health Department. The adult
survey was distributed within the community, while the youth survey work was
conducted in all county high schools. This report encompasses health
beliefs, perceptions and practices of residents of Defiance County. The
