All schools in Defiance County are inspected on an annual basis to help ensure a safe, healthy, and productive environment for all students and staff. The buildings, room environments, kitchen facilities, laboratories, industrial arts rooms, school grounds, athletic facilities, and playgrounds are checked for health and safety hazards.  Procedures such as emergency drills, medications dispensing, maintenance of air filtration systems, hazardous materials storage, and pest control are evaluated.  School inspections are maintained at our office.

Our goals: Ensure schools, their environments, and their playgrounds are constructed and maintained to protect health, safety, and the welfare of students, school employees, and the general public. How we achieve our goals: Education of custodians, administrators, and teachers.
