About WIC

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program of Defiance County is a federally funded program that provides nutrition education and supplemental food to low and moderate income pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five years of age who are at nutritional risk.

WIC has two locations to serve you:

Defiance County Health Department, 1300 East Second Street, Suite 101, Defiance, 

and

Hicksville Community Center, 510 1/2 West High Street, Hicksville, OH 43526 – 

WIC provides:

Juice, cereal, rice, milk, peanut butter, cheese, beans, tuna, salmon, bread, fruits, vegetables, eggs and formula. Nutrition Education/Health Assessment and referrals to other health and community services are offered.
