What is a Data Dashboard?
Data dashboards are interactive charts and graphs that share general statistics on births, deaths and other community concerns. The dashboards were created to give the community an estimate of what is going on within Defiance County. Within the dashboards, you can filter different data points to get the specific data you are looking for. There is a small eraser icon on the top right of each filter box which will allow you to clear your choices. Please watch the instructional video included on this page. The Substance Use Dashboard gives an overview of Emergency Department Visits, Drug Poisonings, Tobacco Use, and more. The information in this dashboard can be used by the Defiance County Drug Free Coalition, and other groups, to help inform education, outreach, and harm reduction programming related to substance use.
The Senior Falls dashboard has information on falls that occur in the Defiance County Senior population. This data can help to make decision on programming and services in Defiance County to prevent falls.
