Defiance County Health Department Launches Data Dashboards
The Defiance County Health Department has put out three new dashboards on their website. These dashboards have interactive charts and graphs that show information on substance use, senior falls, and suicide in Defiance County. The dashboards were created with user-friendliness in mind. Information is presented on up-to-date substance use trends, senior fall incidents, and deaths caused by suicide in Defiance County. To assist the public in using these, a video tutorial is also available on the website.
Jamie Gerken, Defiance County Health Commissioner, states “Defiance County Health Department is committed to transparency and community engagement. We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of public dashboards on Suicide, Substance Use, and Senior Falls. These tools will empower our community with valuable insights and resources.” The data dashboards are now live and can be found at www.defiancecohealth.org/data-dashboards. Defiance County Health Department invites healthcare providers, policymakers, researchers, and community members to explore the dashboards and use the resources to improve public health efforts.
