These problems put our community at risk, but with this funding, we’ll be able to promote traffic safety, focusing on seat belt save lives and keeping everyone safe.
Defiance County Health Department will continue working closely with local law enforcement and community groups through the Defiance County Safe Communities Coalition. Together, they’ll use this grant to support important traffic safety initiatives in Defiance County.
This funding is part of a bigger effort by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to improve road safety across Ohio. It targets key areas like seat belt use, distracted driving, motorcycle safety, impaired driving, and teen drivers.
